"Miss Valenzuela!"
Taking a deep breath, Emily realized that she had fallen asleep... again.
"If you intend to sleep, go to the Nurse's office right now!" Her teacher scolded her. Emily bit her lip.
"...Yes sensei..." She mumbled, picking up her book and standing. She walked out of the classroom, trying not to think of anything. Especially of what happened a few days ago. But no matter how much she tried, his words would always come back to her.

"You have to get stronger"

She stopped walking. His words were still stuck in her head. He was one of the only people who told her "Sorry", and he told her that she had to get stronger- she was probably looking too deep into it, but she had a feeling he didn't mean just in-game.

Emily felt her face heat up at remembering what happened that day. She was embarrassed. She probably shouldn't have done anything. But even though they've only met a few times, he was still her "friend". And friends helped each other out. Even if the other person didn't want any help. The least she could do was...

...Still the way he said it... as if he was really alone... even though Shishi was there...

Not caring anymore whether there was anyone around to see her or not, Emily hid her face with her book, trying to get herself to stop thinking about it again. "I need..." She mumbled "...to stop thinking about it already..."

Her gaming life was starting to be a Distraction. That was what she wanted it to be, but not this far. She needed to do something so that she could go back to concentrating on real life- the "waking world" as much as possible.

...It would be alright to log in today wouldn't it? ...There weren't any exams or tests coming up, and there wasn't any homework to hand in anytime soon.

"...I can risk it... can't I....?"
Yes, she could. At least the pain in her arm would go away for a little while.

...guess when she said "escape", she actually meant herself more than him...

I type too much and I have no idea how you do comics- I got lazy to color/shade properly halfway because it didn't seem right- and I ended up just coloring Emily instead

Anyway~ This is sorta a "reply" to what Kara uploaded before- After Emily suddenly logged off, this is kinda what ends up happening a few days later. Senkou's not the only one embarrassed- //hides now

As to the reason why she has a "time limit" for herself, I'm keeping it a secret for now I meant to just leave it as a comic and uploading the "full story" of it in stash but.... lazyyyyy //shot

If Senkou's embarrassed about what he said and them actually seeing ^{_{^{_{^{His face}}}}} and staying to help him despite what he said- Emily's embarrassed about what she did and letting it slip that she had "Run out of time". And accidentally saying the wrong stuff. Which may or may have not let him know a little about what happens to her in Real life. So her solution was to stop playing Lullaby Moon (again) for a few days. Unfortunately for her, she keeps thinking about the game- and of what happened that day.

So she finally logs in later (to Clarity demanding of an explanation, but she was more happy about Emily finally logging on) hoping that she could avoid doing anything wrong if she could just train or something.

And I seriously type too much You know, the "code" thing at the bottom? It was supposed to be waaaayyy shorter but I ended up typing too much ahahaha~ Oh well~

This is why I stopped coming up with theories--coz all I can think of are emotional traumas and ...other stuff //flees

By the way, nice comic yo! I thought the end was a series of binary codes and then I realized they were words, "--Dayum I can read the codes!--o-oh wait no they're sentences and stuff--my badOTL"
