Masks huh...

<sup>"A Masquerade Ball?" John was confused by the young woman's sudden invitation. Though he absolutely disliked going to such things (Since it meant he would have to wear a suit) it sounded like something that would be beat walking around the hallways aimlessly all day. Besides, Phoebe was staring at him-- and it didn't look like she would leave until she had his answer.

"..Fine. But I won't stay long" He sighed,combing his bangs back. She clapped her hands delightfully in reply, reminding him not to forget to wear a mask. It was necessary after all! He shut the door as she turned to leave, already starting to regret his decision to go.

His hair combed back and tied loosely so that most of his still-black locks would be hidden, John leaned against the wall and resisted the urge to tug at his tie again. It was already a little loose around his neck- it felt like it's been years since he last had to wear a suit. Perhaps it had been years, it felt like that was a possibility. What year was it anyway? It felt like there wasn't really a solid concept of time here.

He took a sip of wine from a glass one of the waiters handed him, still thinking. Was it possible that this place had "no time"? After all, there were people from the modern times and from what appeared to be older times, where men wore suits almost all the time and the women normally wore dresses even at home. With the strange events that occur around the Mansion, he wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

His thoughts were broken when he felt a gust of wind coming from one of the guest's skirts-- it was then he noticed that her heels weren't even touching the ground. He blinked a few times before noticing that her dance partner's feet wasn't touching the ground either.

They were dancing on air.

"What... the hell?" John muttered, raising a brow. His eyes scanned the room and found that here and there, other guests' feet weren't touching the floor as they dance and practically glided around the room. It didn't seem like anyone else had noticed yet... or maybe they did and were just ignoring it?

What the heck was going on!?</sup>

I meant to finish this yesterday (All Soul's Day) but ended up sleeping early instead ahahahaha ;;;

So John ended up going. With most of his hair now it's natural red color (He still hasn't found any black hair dye, or anything to dye his hair really) It wasn't hard to hide the parts of his hair that was still black or still a little covered in what was left of the last time he dyed his hair. There were lots of suits in the closet inside the room he was staying in, so he picked a random one that fit and put it on. It's been a long time since he last wore one though, so he felt very uncomfortable in clothing that was tighter than the loose clothing he wore as his Halloween Costume.

As for the mask, well-- Ended up making it related to his Halloween costume because why the heck not

Aaaaand eventually I'll finish a pic for Phoebe too (Probably going to submit it late though). For now, enjoy John just staying gloomily near the wall during the Masquerade Ball~
